My boss called me up to say that I had to meet with a client the following week in Guangzhou, China. I booked tickets to the city from Mumbai on Singapore Air. Ticket booking was done through the airline’s website, which was easy to use. I also did a web check in prior leaving for the airport, which reduced formalities there.
I Had a Very Comfortable Trip on Singapore Airlines
Singapore airlines is leading carrier offering flights to 64 global locations, enabling people to travel in comfort and luxury by providing the latest in passenger facilities. It operates from the Singapore Changi airport and is the best to opt for connecting to cities in South East Asia and Far East from Singapore. The carrier also offers connecting flights to certain destinations and the Mumbai to Guangzhou flights are such one as they have a stopover.
My journey on board the carrier lasted thirteen hours and thirty five minutes, with a stopover in Singapore. During my time on board the carrier, I enjoyed the airline’s in-flight entertainment service through which I enjoyed music and video. I also had a delicious meal and the flight attendants looked into my every need. The flight landed in the Guangzhou, airport and after completing all airport formalities, from where I took a cab to reach the hotel accommodation.

I could not help but be impressed by the facilities available in the Guangzhou international Airport. It is the third busiest in China and the 17th busiest in the world. It is a large airport and one that has various technologies in place at different points to ease passengers who are arriving to take a flight to various parts of the globe. Restaurants, retail shops, gift shops abound the place, offering the best duty free items or travelers.
My Place of Stay Was the Opulent Four Star Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun
I stayed in the lavish Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun which offers nothing but the highest guest comforts and facilities. I could enjoy various types of Chinese delicacies in the hotel’s restaurant. There is also a coffee shop for evening snacks, beverages and cakes. The hotel’s bar offers the most popular alcoholic drinks, cocktails and mocktails.
As I was on a business visit I called up the client to meet at the hotel and carried out my discussion on the hotel’s business center, which was state of the art and equipped with the most modern meeting and conferencing facilities. Impressed with my knowledge reserve and forthcoming attitude on information, the client accepted my project proposal. I then returned to my room to rest for some time. In the evening, I enjoyed a light snack in the hotel’s restaurant, after which I packed for my return journey.
